City of Durango releases meeting schedule for week of May 4, 2026

The City of Durango announced on May 1 the schedule of public meetings planned for the week beginning May 4, 2026. The city has provided details on dates, times, and locations for each meeting and encouraged residents to access agendas and minutes online at DurangoCo.Gov/Meetings.

According to the announcement, no meetings are scheduled for Monday, May 4 or Friday, May 8. On Tuesday, May 5, a City Council Study Session will take place at 2:00 p.m., followed by a regular City Council Meeting at 5:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in a hybrid format—virtually and in person—at Durango City Hall. Public comments can be sent to PublicComment@durangoco.gov.

On Wednesday, May 6 at 9:00 a.m., the City Council Retreat is set as a hybrid event at the Durango Public Library’s Program Room. Later that day at 4:00 p.m., Dylan Cuatt, Multimodal Coordinator for the city, will host “Donuts with Dylan” at Fassbinder Park to discuss updates on local demonstration projects and answer questions from community members.

Thursday’s schedule includes Councilor Koso’s office hours at noon in the library foyer and a Financial Advisory Board meeting at City Hall starting at 5:30 p.m. This board meeting is also accessible both virtually and in person; public comments should be emailed to fabpubliccomment@durangoco.gov.

The city also shared preliminary information about meetings scheduled for the following week beginning May 11. These include sessions such as the Durango Renewal Partnership Meeting and Business Improvement District Board Meeting among others.

Residents are invited to provide feedback or ask questions through Engage Durango or by using the city’s “Contact Us” form online. Those interested in receiving updates about city news can sign up via Notify Me on the city’s website.
