City of Durango releases schedule of meetings for week of April 6, 2026

The City of Durango announced on April 3 the schedule of public meetings planned for the week beginning April 6, 2026. The announcement provides details on upcoming city council sessions and other community meetings.

The schedule is intended to inform residents about opportunities to participate in local government and access information about city affairs. Agendas and minutes are available at DurangoCo.Gov/Meetings, and residents can sign up for automatic updates at DurangoCo.Gov/NotifyMe.

For the week of April 6, no meetings are scheduled on Monday, Thursday, or Friday. On Tuesday, April 7, a City Council Study Session will take place at 2:00 p.m., followed by a regular City Council meeting at 5:30 p.m. Both events will be held virtually and in person at Durango City Hall located at 949 East 2nd Avenue. Members of the public can submit comments via PublicComment@durangoco.gov or check the agenda for participation details.

On Wednesday, April 8, Mayor Gilda Yazzie will hold office hours starting at noon in the entry foyer of the Durango Public Library at 1900 East Third Avenue.

A preliminary meeting schedule is also provided for the following week beginning April 13. Highlights include a Business Improvement District Board Meeting on Tuesday morning; Sales Tax Office Hours and a Community and Cultural Relations Commission meeting on Wednesday; an Airport Commission session Thursday afternoon; and a Financial Advisory Board Study Session later that day. Locations vary between city hall, library facilities, airport premises, or virtual formats as specified in each listing.
