On Tuesday, March 24, Mason Rowland, a former Durango High School basketball standout, helped her current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, secure an 81-59 victory over the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

The matchup was held at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, tipping off at 10 a.m.

Rowland tallied 21 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists and 1 block in 37 minutes of play.

Colorado Mesa’s next contest is set for Thursday, March 26, at 6 p.m., again at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
