Regis Rangers, featuring former Bayfield High School star Lance Mazur, dropped a 17-15 decision to the UCCS Mountain Lions in NCAA Division II baseball action at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.

The matchup was held at Mountain Lion Park and marked the teams’ third meeting this season. In the Rangers’ previous contest on Friday, March 13, the Mountain Lions defeated them 20-9.

Mazur surrendered five earned runs through 2.2 innings pitched, tallying four walks and two strikeouts in his outing.

The Rangers are set to play their next game at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14, against the UCCS Mountain Lions at Mountain Lion Park.
