Rock Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center ranked as top nursing home in Rio Grande County in Q1

During the opening quarter of 2026, Rock Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center was considered the largest nursing home in Rio Grande County, tied with two others—Colorado Veterans Community Living Center at Homelake and River Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center—Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) data shows.

The facility provided 60 beds, which matched the county average in Q1 2026, and cared for an average of 32.8 residents over the period.

But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
