San Francisco Dons defeated the California Baptist Lancers 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball contest on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m., with former Delta High School standout Gauge Lockhart contributing for his team.

The matchup was held at Benedetti Diamond and marked the third meeting between these teams this season. The previous day, Friday, Feb. 27, the Dons fell 7-1 to the Lancers.

Lockhart pitched four innings, tallying five walks and three strikeouts.

San Francisco’s next contest against California Baptist is slated for Sunday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Benedetti Diamond.
