Cortez City issued the following announcement on June 19.
The City of Cortez invites citizens to attend and participate in their local government. For the first time since March 2020, on Tuesday June 23, 2020, at 6:30 pm, council will have a work session and at 7:30 pm, Cortez City Council will convene in City Council Chambers.
If citizens wish to attend they must wear a face mask or face covering that covers their mouth and nose for the duration of their attendance at City Hall.
To comply with social distancing, seating will be limited in Council Chambers and any overflow will be in the training room at City Hall.
Citizens will not be allowed to enter City Hall without compliance of wearing a face mask covering their mouth and nose.
