ALAMOSA COUNTY GOVERNMENT: Contract: Translator

Alamosa County Government issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.

Translator contributes input to regional and local COVID-19 communication plans. 

Actively performs document translation and formatting as directed by the Emergency Preparedness and Response Program Manager and provides verbal interpretation in Spanish and Q’an’joval as required. Prepares verbal and written public education materials related to COVID-19. This is a temporary contract, with an estimated 20 hours/week commitment, with an initial term through December 31, 2020 with possibility of extension as funds are available and need exists. High School Diploma or GED and six months to one year related experience and/or training, with excellent spoken and written English, Spanish, and Q’an’joval. Contract value:  $6,000-7,500, commensurate with experience
