91 percent of applicants to Fort Lewis College were admitted for fall 2018

At Fort Lewis College, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Durango enrolled 3,319 students in fall 2018, including 3,272 in undergraduate and 47 in graduate programs, data shows. 10 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

43 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 56 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and American Indian or Alaska Native (27 percent).

The school admitted 91 percent of the 4,198 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
