LA PLATA COUNTY: Board Of County Commissioners' Schedule December 11 - 18, 2020

La Plata County issued the following announcement on Dec. 12.

FRIDAY, December 11

1 p.m. – Executive Session

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

  • Personnel matters pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(f) regarding the annual performance review for the County Manager
2 p.m. – Executive Session

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

  • Personnel matters pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(f) regarding the annual performance review for the County Attorney
MONDAY, December 14

9 a.m. – The Board will hold a virtual radio interview with staff at Four Corners Broadcasting. To submit a question to the Board of County Commissioners for this interview, please email news@radiodurango.com.

TUESDAY,  December 15

10 a.m. – Planning Meeting

The Board will consider:

  • Project #2018-0128 Border Buds Retail Marijuana Dispensary Class II

The Board will consider:

  • Consideration of conditional approval extension for Tree of Life Growers, LLC products manufacturer
  • Consideration of conditional approval extension for Tree of Life Growers, LLC cultivation facility

La Plata County Palo Verde Public Improvement District #3 Business Agenda

The Board Will Consider:

  • Consideration of Resolution No. PID3R-2020-3 levying property taxes for the Year 2020 to help defray costs for the 2021 budget year

 1:00 p.m. Commissioner Julie Westendorff will hold telephone office hours from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for members of the public to reach her to discuss issues of interest or concern with the county. Commissioner Westendorff encourages the public to phone her at (970) 382-6217 for one-on-one conversations.

5:30 p.m. – Work Session
