Montrose issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
The new electric vehicle charging stations are open! Located at the corner of North First Street and North Uncompahgre Avenue, in the heart of downtown Montrose, the parking lot features eight Tesla Superchargers and two ChargePoint Dual Platform (CCS & CHAdeMo) fast chargers. We are excited to welcome electric vehicle drivers to stop, charge, and hangout in downtown Montrose!
The installation was made possible by a partnership between Delta-Montrose Electric Association, ChargePoint, Tesla, the Colorado Energy Office, and the City of Montrose. Thanks to these partnerships, Montrose is now officially on the map as a destination for electric vehicle drivers.
