Of the 987 people living in Alamosa East CDP in 2020, 40.1 percent (396) were women and 59.9 percent (591) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Colorado News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 159. In the 65 and over age range, there were 70 females and 96 males.
