DURANGO, Colo. – Embarking on its first in a pair of back-to-back road trips, the Fort Lewis College softball team will travel to Denver, Colo., to take on a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series at Regis University this Saturday and Sunday.

All four games will have live statistics available and streamed for free on the RMAC Network courtesy of Regis Athletics. Saturday's games will start at 12:00 p.m. while Sunday's will begin at 11:00 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Skyhawks notched its second series split of the season last weekend against Colorado State University-Pueblo (8-17, 3-13 RMAC). Fort Lewis walked off game two of the series thanks to a single to right field off the bat of Sloan Shotton with the bases loaded.

In game three, the Skyhawks utilized a passed ball, a fielder's choice, a home run, and singles from four separate Skyhawks to outscore The Pack 7-2. Amiee Shanks threw her fifth complete game of the season in game three, allowing just one earned run on four hits and a pair of walks.

SCOUTING THE RANGER
S
Regis enters this weekend's series with a 14-12 overall record and an 11-5 mark in RMAC play. The Rangers, identical to the Skyhawks, are coming off of a four-game series split against the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (8-17, 5-11 RMAC). While the Rangers absolutely dominated the Mountain Lions on day one with a pair of wins by scores of 10-1 and 16-7, they could not find similar success on day two and fell back-to-back to UCCS, 6-5 and 5-3.

Headlining the Rangers' pitching staff is Kylie Harpman, owner of the 4th lowest earned run average in the conference. Harpman, a sophomore from Fort Collins, Colo., boasts a 2.95 ERA through a team-leading 54.2 innings pitched with 69 strikeouts to just 22 walks. At the plate, Regis ranks fifth in the conference with a .288 batting average as a team.

Leading the Rangers and ranking fourth in the RMAC with 35 total hits stands Jessi Case. Case, a graduate student from Loveland, Colo., and a four-year veteran with the Rangers is repping a .402 average at the plate to compliment 23 stolen bases in 24 attempts.

LOOKING AHEAD
Next weekend the Skyhawks will head back to the Denver area for its second-straight series on the road. Fort Lewis will take on Metropolitan State University of Denver (19-8, 15-1 RMAC) in a four-game RMAC series at The Assembly Athletic Complex from Mar. 24-25.
