Of the 8,084 people living in San Miguel County, Colorado in 2021, 45.8% (3,699) were women and 54.2% (4,385) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by SW Colorado News.

Data showed the average age for men in San Miguel County in 2021 was 41 years, higher than the national average of 40 for men.
