5.1% of Montezuma County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Montezuma County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 585 people out of the 25,916 living in Montezuma County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Montezuma County has increased compared to the 4.4% registered in 2020.
