Women leaders from a variety of organizations in Archuleta County gathered to mark Women’s History Month on March 3, 2026. The event brought together representatives from groups such as Habitat for Humanity, Rise Above Violence, Pagosa Community Initiative, Spanish Fiesta, Vets4Vets, the Health Department, the Community Development Corporation, Main Street, Chimney Rock, Pagosa Medical Center, the Chamber of Commerce, Aspen House, Archuleta Housing Corporation, Archuleta Senior Center, Healthy Archuleta and local food pantries.
The gathering highlighted the efforts of women who play important roles in supporting and improving the community. Organizers noted the value of having so many dedicated women come together for a common purpose.
